Originally from Georgetown, Guyana, Chef Coyd Jordan moved to the U.S. at the age of eight. Growing up, he struggled with focusing his energy on any one task, and dabbled in a variety of fields. He developed a passion for photography, but found that when cooking, he felt centered.
Being a man of few words, cooking gave him a voice, allowing him to express and share a piece of himself with others through his culinary creations. After graduating from the Institute of Culinary Education he sought opportunities that would cultivate his creativity. Coyd has worked in various kitchens including DB Bistro, Masak, and Savory before joining the TMS team.
